A fourth-generation panhandle resident, Wayne graduated from Walton County High School in 1987, Okaloosa Walton Junior College (now Northwest Florida College in 1991) and Florida State University in 1993. He graduated with his JD, (Juris Doctor Degree), from Regent University Law School in 1997. Upon returning home from law school, Wayne joined the Crestview law firm of Welton and Associates, which became Welton & Williamson in late 1997. On Veterans day of 2011, he founded his own firm and moved his offices to Santa Rosa Beach where he resides with his wife Tonya King-Williamson. Wayne and Tonya have three children, Caleb 16, Zane, 15 and Crystal, 13.
